6.1.31. Valve & stem seal
•
Compress the valve spring retainer
using a jig and take off the valve cotter
pins.
•
Disassemble the valve springs and
retainers.
•
Take off the valves.
•
Remove and discard the used valve
stem seals in order not to be re-used.
6.1.32. Oil cooler
•
Unscrew the oil cooler cover fixing
bolts and disassemble the oil cooler
tube assembly from the oil cooler
housing.
6.1.33. Oil pan
•
Stand the engine up the flywheel
housing end face towards the bottom
side.
•
Release the oil pan fixing bolts, then
disassemble the oil pan.
6.1.34. Oil pump & oil pipe
•
Unscrew the oil suction pipe bracket
bolts, releasing the pipe fixing bolts,
then detach the oil suction pipe
assembly.
•
Disassemble the oil pipes connected
the oil pump to the cylinder block.
•
Unscrew the oil pump fixing bolts and
disassemble the oil pump.
